This is a true story.  I have to sing the first verse of a song called “Once in Royal David’s City” for all the people in my church because I am in a Christmas program that my church does.  You might have heard of this song.  This is how it goes.

“Once in royal David’s city,

Stood a lowly cattle shed,

Where a mother laid her baby,

In a manger for His bed.

Mary was that mother mild.

Jesus Christ her little Child.”
